GenSpace Joins in on the YMCA’s Trunk or Treat Festivities

November 1, 2022
GenSpace staff were invited to participate in promoting GenSpace at the YMCA’s 2nd annual Trunk or Treat event at the Anderson Munger Family YMCA in Koreatown.

YMCA’s second annual Trunk or Treat event allows community members to safely receive Halloween rewards and participate in family fun.

Attendees enjoyed a live DJ, carnival-style games, pumpkin carving activities, and participated in costume contests!

In preparation for the event, GenSpace volunteers and members made over 500 goodie bags, and the GenSpace team had a blast handing out treats to kids and their families. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness about GenSpace’s programming and innovative community space for older adults.

The YMCA is a great partner to Wallis Annenberg GenSpace through our partnership of fitness classes and more. GenSpace looks forward to more community events and continued partnerships with the Anderson Munger Family YMCA and Koreatown’s community leaders.
