Studies show that as of July 2022, food insecurity in Los Angeles County affected a quarter of the population – a 10% increase from the prior year. And while the United States Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as “a lack of consistent access to sufficient food,” the reality is much more complex.

GenSpace was happy to celebrate its members and volunteers last month with a bingo and magic Night! Members and staff wore their favorite costumes and were treated to a couple of rounds of bingo, a magic show and other activities, in this special celebration.
